Join the Word Club with Pastor Carla Ives!

The Word Club is a discipleship program for children at home, church or in a Christian school.  It features Bible curriculum that includes teacher’s guides, Bible lessons and activity pages.  Each curriculum offers children an opportunity to earn special badges or collectible bookmarks for fun!  The WC Kids and their teachers or parents are invited into a special Facebook group filled with WC updates, crafts and ideas.  WC Kids earn a special certificate at the end of each course.

Our current WC study is “The Church Family Tree!”  It’s a verse-by-verse study of four of the Pauline Epistles – Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians.  The children are also introduced to patriarchs and matriarchs of the faith from around the world – men and women who God used to grow the global church!   They discover they have deep roots in God’s family and place of belonging.

Other Word Club curriculum’s include:

  • The Pentateuch - An overview of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy

  • Joshua, Judges & Ruth - An overview of Israel’s early history in the Promised Land

  • I & II Samuel & Psalms - Lessons from the life of David

  • The Book of Acts - Learn about the birth of the early church and missions

  • Who is this Jesus? - Study the gospels and get to know Jesus for who He really is!

  • The Church Family Tree (studying the Epistles of Paul)

  • The Holy Spirit and Me

Sunday School Teacher Fellowships

We work with local churches and individuals who have participated in PHGN Children’s Ministry seminars or the Multi-Generational Discipleship Institute to develop Sunday School Teacher Fellowships. These fellowships allow for continued training in ministry and use of materials, distribution of materials, encouragement and spiritual support for the teachers, allowing greater impact.
